hi guys,
well after getting 3 big singles stolen in a year up here in edinburgh,
i decided to get something not so appealing to the little chavs for use off road, to take up my commuter duties
and decided on the fzs600 mainly because it came up cheap and was mechanically sound-ish
i bought it off a local charity that teaches teens about bikes, it had come in with a broken spark plug
so they pulled the head removed the plug, fixed the brakes, etc etc.
except they didnt look at the carbs (which was kind of dumb considering they had them off any way)
so would just run, but it felt like it was dropping a cylinder or 2 when you gave it any throttle,
carbs came off, cleaned and balanced, and she was away,
revs nice and cleanly now, only problem is that the idle is too low and cuts out when coming to a stop
and of course the idle adjuster cable is broken :rolleyes
so have to run a little bit of choke to keep it running.
oh and the clutch switch is also buggered, so if it dies in traffic you've also got to find neutral quick to start it
any way, wall of text over
here she is in all her faded glory

only plans i have for it are, dropped foot pegs to handle my 6'4" frame and stupid long legs,
and some crash bars, possibly some hid lights, as the stock lights seem pretty shit
