Not many shots of the bike in different places today, should I bother? All a bit holiday-snap-ish.

Yeah put them on :thumbup .

I've stayed at the apartments at Seaton a few times. Just up the road from Downderry & about 15 mins from Looe, so I guess you prob know it quite well.

:lol

Took loads of shots, but mostly just as reminders of where I spent my best childhood holidays, might not get down here for a while again.

We used to walk from Downderry to Seaton along the beach when the tide was out. None of it has changed much - maybe a few more houses have fallen into the sea from the Downderry cliff tops  :lol

The first pic is that shop window in Looe isn't it?!. Been on the Fowey ferry but not on bike, & polperro always a fave. Might get down that way again next wk Smile.

Yep, in the window of one or other of the many little craft shops. Thought it might come in handy sometime  :lol

Fitted new heated grips and finished fitting my new givi rack and box with built in stop lights. ..
Did not want heated grips cluttering up this bike but the 6 am chill is getting to my pinkies  :lol
Went for the Datatool ones as the controller is built into the left grip  Big Grin

Added Yamalube fuel stabiliser and brimmed tank. Drained carbs, went over bike with ACF 50. Checked tyre pressures, lubed chain, fully charged battery.Put in outbuilding on centre stand, and carpet under front tyre, dustcover over. We have had a couple of frosty mornings and ice on windscreens. Salt spreading on the roads that I ride on in the North Wales hills is imminent, so bye, bye, Fazer until the Spring, and hello XJ600.

Topped the oil up and went to Glencoe and back......levels seem fine now

That's good news about the oil. Sometimes when checking the oil it can be stuck up in the head instead of dropping into sump, so now you know the level, keep an eye on it for the next wee while to make sure it's ok. Some fazers do burn a little oil and some don't....
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

Sold it well the gen1 anyway, big thanks to Luke for sorting out the sale. I'm a little sad that it's gone and hope that the new owner gets as much pleasure from it as I have. In the three years I owned it never once did it not fail to put a smile on my face. Hopefully I will feel the same about the gen2, the little changes I've made since buying it from noggy are starting to make it feel like my bike instead of one I've borrowed.
