I'm easy to meet anywhere, but will depend on getting my boy up that early, if he sleeps in, I'll need to head straight up the M80

I reckon getting him breakfast at mcds in Helen Street will get him up :lol

Could meet at mcds Anniesland back of 8 for a double sausage n egg mcmuffin then up to dunglass for 8:45ish. Just because youngsterbiker is an insomniac doesnt mean we have to kick off quite so early

Ahh that's true, forgot about the mcds there Smile that would be a plan although I just go for the single sausage and egg Smile

Yes youngsterbiker has no need for sleep, he's made of certain stuff :b

No probs Mick, enjoy your pasting :lol

So I'm going to meet pickles at Anniesland mcds for 8am then head out to Dumbarton for 8:45 then onto Stirling to meet youngsterbiker then where? We need suggestions.

Here's my diary of events today....

Up at 7am, bike out and no leaks etc.
Got my boy up and ready at 7:30 with a promise of at mcds in Anniesland to tease him.out of bed, it worked Smile

Arrived at said mcds for agreed time of 8am to meet pickles, who was late! :lol
We duly had our breakfast and a wee chat once he arrived.

So headed to Dumbarton to meet clanadam,  on arrival we meet and greet him and his pal. After another bit of banter we all head off to Stirling services to meet youngsterbiker,  I said I'd go at the back as I had a pillion and thought my bike was a bit 'squidgy' so wanted to take it easy.

We all arrive safely at Stirling (albeit someone nearly headed to Aberfoyle as they didn't see a 'wee' sign) :lol, some sports bikes needed fuel, (get a fazer lads :b )
So I think I better check my tyre pressures, just as well I did! Back at 33 and front at 31! Double checked with pickles electronic gadget, so I duly go and get them blown up a bit but at £1 for air minimum charge what a foccin rip off, but better £1 down as apposed to a bike down :eek

youngsterbiker is running a bit late due to a wee drinking session last night, some thought he looked rough, I'm sure he always looks that way :lol

Route decided is head to the green welly for lunch / bite to eat/ rest etc. Good clean run, nice bends, nice overtakes Smile

After a rest we decide to head to Oban but turn off for Inveraray, but at the junction it's decided to head to Oban and then Lochgilphead and then back to Inveraray Smile
I bet youngsterbiker is wondering if he'll ever get home today :b and he needs petrol at Oban. En route I'm talking to my boy and he wants something to eat again! So I decide to stop there and gets chips with free seagulls :lol and then I was going to head back to Inveraray then home, so we said our departing words and good wishes to all in the group.

After our chips my boy and I head to Inveraray and decide to stop for a wee rest and who do we see at the car park? Well I won't say you lot were speeding but WTF?  how did you get there? By jet me thinks :lol

So after another wee catch up and a few people mentioning an unmarked police car in the area we duly persuade youngsterbiker to come towards Tarbert and then go up the Loch Lomond road to get home (hope he enjoyed it)
As it happened, we didn't need to worry about the unmarked police car as it's blue lights were going like mad in the opposite direction so for now, we were ok Smile

Got to Tarbert and youngsterbiker peeled off and headed home, we then carried on towards Glasgow.

I got home after 240 miles with a big grin and dry thanks to the weather holding out for us. No rain and not roasting, best sort of day me thinks.

All in an absolute brilliant day, really looking forward to another foccers day Smile

Cheers fellas, was good puting faces to names :thumbup

So it's a shower and early to bed for me, but not before I have a couple of beers, well deserved I think :woot
