I bought my 2003 (FZ1 in the US, FSZ1000 Fazer for you guys) in late July after a 40 years hiatus in biking.
Well I did ride a Harley (loaner) for a couple of weeks back in April, which is what gave me the bug again.
Saying I love the bike would be a severe understatement. I have about 2,500 miles on it since July 28th.
The bike is mostly stock, blue of course since it is the faster color It is going to get Ivan's jet kit in the next month or two.
Looking forward to sharing tips and stories with the group.
Didier

Well, I have one of those slowly flaking silver one, but the bike is actually getting faster as the paint flakes off and I love it just the same
It's not too bad yet, but I am not sure what kind of paint to use to patch it?
Here is the picture, I need to take one near the beach, so that I can make you guys REALLY jealous (we have beautiful white sandy beaches in North West Florida)

I am near Fort Walton Beach, in the panhandle. It's a bit of a drive to Orlando...
Thank you!
