Surely not even foc-u can help me here

Got a tune on my brain, from late 70s or early 80s. Not sure if it's really famous (like ACDC or something) and I'm being dense or someone obscure (like Girlschool, remember them?).

Anyway, seeing as a tune cannot be described in writing, here's the next best thing: an online keyboard  :eek

If you have a second (and are knocking on a bit) would you please copy this string of letters (i.e. highlight then then right-click copy):
reqlk  h h  reqlk  h h  reqlk kkkkl llllh

Then go to http://www.buttonbass.com/PlayerPiano.html

On that screen should be a keyboard. Above it is some buttons, click 'Clear' then paste into the box above that. Then click the green 'Play' button - it's the only bit of the song I can remember and I'm not sure about the third bit.

So... name that song!!!

would it have been played on a keyboard as that tune rings a bell. You sure it was rock not some new wave/romantic

Or when they were teenboppers, before being the female version of Status Quo.

:rollin Brilliant, can't believe that worked  :lol  Well done for figuring out my dodgy instructions for the keyboard site and blimey o'riley well done for recognising the tune.

Thanks for the videos :thumbup I trawled through loads of Girlschool videos yesterday but by luck not that one.

Good to hear it again after all these years - I was head banging but my hair hasn't lasted as well as theirs  :lol

One last question: is that Wayne Rooney in joebloggs' video at 14seconds??

Unfortunately for that poor sod, no it isn't, but it would only require a Shredded Wheat to transform him.

Used to take part in a quiz between friends where you would get a few lyrics from a song, not chorus, and you really struggle when all you have is words even from very popular tracks. Can't do it online though as a quick google search would give the the name instantly

All 80's rock, bar the odd song, is getting to dated for me. I want to like it, just find it hard to listen to

"Word Up" being their main attribute!
