Hope the lad was alright . how long will it take for her license to arrive , I have just been on the comparison insurance sites for the sort of car she is likely to buy , Nissan micra , ford fiesta , ford ka , fiat punto , quotes weren't to bad considering she has just passed her test and where we live , all the cheapest ones were under £900 ,

ESETEST......my daughter passed her test 18 mths ago, if you add yourself and your wife as named drivers it will bring the quote down a bit...done it with my daughters policy saved her a few quid......not seen any of it yet though  :lol

i had a look at the named driver , on the ford Ka it saved £40, on a Fiat punto it saved £ 50 , out of interest i also tried it with fully comp some cars were a little cheaper, some were a lot dearer , i will look at  door option as well , unfortunately just taken out my car insurance mid august so multi car wouldn,t  be an option this year .
