Grayo, we could drop down through the Brecons and meet somewhere on the head of the valley road, around Pendryn. I need to re-stock my single malt collection or my ancestrial homeland Tonypandy

Do your homework noggy.....this is bluebird K3.......
Ok, I'm in. I might pack the tent to spend a couple of extra days down there too. Paul, if you're doing the A40, I could meet you at the Burford roundabout. If you take a left here, just a short way along, a few yards, there's a layby, often a butty wagon there. Meet you there?
That's the cookie. Layby will be on your right, just after you leave the roundabout. Give me a time to be there, or stop a bit before and call - only takes me about 10mins to get there.

mmmmm....cookies and ice cream on the beach :lol
just checked the forcast,no rain here ,rain forcast in the morning at pendine but good in the afternoon, looks like it will be dry by the time we get there, bit breezy, but that was expected ....the bluebird run is at 4pm so suggest we arrive no later than 3pm
went to see bluebird k3 on saturday, they were going to do a run on the regatta course at henley, could`nt get it started :\ ended up towing it down the course, had a fantastic view as was on my small inflatable dinghy following it down the course to hobbs marina where they lifted it out.no one there just the crew so i moved in for some close up pics, got to the bank and one of the mechanics came over and invited me and my son to have a closer look .....i could smell the history, opptunities like that dont come along very often, but its nice when they do .....no, not nice......fantastic
ceri....see you at 8 at beconsfield services......nick,should be about 9ish but will text when at the BMW garage as we turn off the ring road
Just imaging how slow it would have been if it was Red,at least with the silver it made the blue bit fast.
Just thinking we're all turning up on thous, that are capable of at least 150mph and we take it for granted, and we're going to see a car that was cutting edge in it's time that could just about do 150mph, and that was only two generations ago.
Weather is looking like heavy showers all through the day at some point. Looks like I'll get wet whichever direction I head in. I'll keep an eye on the weather though. South Westerly winds at Pendine so bikes will probably get covered in sand.
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

80 years between blue bird and our thous, but still use the same "internal combustion engine" different fueling and some so called clever electrics.....
