No I haven't done the flies, as to how best to remove them a little bit of heat and a perfectly fitting screwdriver is the way to go.
One of the things I have done to my FZ1 some people will find strange Smile, will list my  mods after I get map and power figures.

Have fitted new foot pegs, lowered them by about 27mm so tomorrow is test day. That is as long as the weather is not boiling again 42 degrees here today. So maybe a short run.

You mean pad pins?
They shouldn't need an impact driver at all, in fact i would avoid using one, steel pins in soft metal should come out easily by hand with an allen key.
