Going today Confusedun. The forecast don't look too great down this way for tomorrow.

Ah, that's a shame, be too late for me today by the time I get going now. Enjoy!

I'm going to have a ME day soon and do this - never been but also been fascinated with both the WW1 & 2 stuff (all I read about when I was a lad). If I can't make this then will go to IWM London instead orrrrrrr back to the tank museum but with no kids this time.

Always wanted to a short weekend tour of the WW1 trenches etc in France - one day....one day.  :rolleyes

Engine #1 and #2 appear to have a problem on the B52. Hope it isn't too expensive to fix.

Fortunately that's just smoke canisters employed for visual effect. It was one of five B17's used in the making of the film 'Memphis Belle' & was fitted with the smoke canisters for that in order to portray a damaged & failing engine/s.

A surprisingly quiet aircraft. Nothing like the roar of the mighty Lancaster!.
