Hi all, just took my Fazer round Snetterton and found it brilliant...
Just one issue which is the footpegs, scraping away when tipped in.
Has anyone else changed bits and bobs for the purposed of track use, i want to keep it road legal and friendly... Though I have a race micron can in it.
To those who worry, the fazers love track!
As already suggested. Then a high level can. The next thing to hit would be the engine casings......!
I didn't want to be a nuisance starting another 'track day' posting so thought I'd restart this old topic ...
I wondered if anyone here had used these foot peg adjusters ^^^^ and if so they alright ?? I'm never to sure buying Chinese parts..
I found myself scraping the footpegs yesterday on 2 occasions the 1st time just messing about going round some roundabouts on an industrial estate. I wasn't aiming to get my knee down or anything, more just messing about passing half an hour on a long detour home.
2nd time giving it a bit to much and in a crash or close your eyes and give it some beans moment... :/
Iv been looking at Kebabs R6 rear shock mod which will help pick up the back end which is needed but that won't be til winter time really ..
ive scraped mine quite a few times on the road even with a higher profile rear tyre and stiffened up rear shock!
Yeah I know there prone to scraping at relatively 'normal lean angles' anyway. Was just surprised when I did as I thought would have needed a bit more effort. Ha
I'v already watched your vids SGP. Lol awesome stuff ! you mentioned before about having a spare set of riser plates. I looked at some on fleabay a few weeks ago . I may be interested ..
Thats the whole point of them --- on the road at least as they are a guide as to how far over you are its not that unusual to ground them
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
