Fork Seals Advice Please
#1
Hi I have recently purchased a 2006 FZ6 that had been standing for 5 years, I got it running and MOT passed and have had 300 fun miles so far.
Today I noticed one of the fork seals leaking, they have probably gone brittle due to being left standing a while.

Are these an easy fix and is there a link on here to show them dismantled and refitted or possibly a manual that I can download?

Cheers Duffy

Have a look in the downloads section Duffy, there's free downloads of manuals for most models  Big Grin

you can try this first, not tried it myself but it might be better replacing the seals as its not a big job.  https://youtu.be/8wlzfoVroSY

Damn, I wish I'd known about that before I paid to get one fixed after it failed the MOT Sad
