Hi from Duffy
#1
Hi Everyone, My name is Duffy and I recently purchased a 2006 56 plate FZ6 that had been off the road for 5 years and I only paid £500  :thumbup

I gave it an oil & filter change, air filter and battery and fresh fuel and she fired up a treat and after a brake service passed its MOT  Smile

I thought I would join here for a few tips and advice and general banter and say hi to you fellow Fazer owners.

Cheers Duffy

FIVE HUNDRED QUID???????? you lucky lucky luck so and so.  She in good nick?  Shame it's blue though, probably sold it cheap coz no one wants a slow one!  :pokefun

I see you're in Orpington?  What you up to this Sunday?  Fancy joining a few of us as we head to Sammy Miller's bike museum?  If you like bikes and all day breakfasts this day is for you.

Check out the events section it's under LOFO (london fazer owners, in the loosest sense of the term) day out or something like that.
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys beer, and that helps!

Cheers for the welcome, she was covered in dust and crap, took me 2 days cleaning her up, engine casings and wheels are a bit scabby but will sort them in time as its a commuter.

I fitted some MTC Cans and it's quite raspy now Smile

I can't make the weekend as I work shifts unfortunately, but Been to Sammy Millers a few times as my Dad was trials riding in the 60's & 70's and parents live in Dorset now and we have chatted to Sammy in his local pub/ restaraunt, he isa really nice guy.

One slight correction though, My Fazer is Fast Black Smile

Will post a few pictures when I get chance promise.
