gave it to my stealers for its 24,000 mile major service, valve clearances, shims and new plugs. Misses didn't baulk at the 8 grand price tag for the tracer,

Well, the Midden came round mine this afternoon and we had an awesome run down to Rye, no traffic but Clipped a rabbit on the way down, killed it outright but it didn't go to waste.
Met a real character down at Rye who talked non stop for over an hour and was an expert at everything. :rolleyes
He set up Middens suspension and showed me how to hang off the bike properly and get my knee down.
I've got to say, it was one of the most entertaining days I've ever had and me and Midden was crying with laughter
In all fairness, the man was very knowledgeable and we wasn't being ungrateful but, he just left himself open to the infamous Foccer pisstake.
I think he knew we was taking the piss but he took it very well........Well it's only fair isn't it.
We managed to escape for cod and chips and the man moved on to his next victim (who had short back and sides when we left them :lol
Had an equally good ride on the way home, avoiding all the traffic and making the most of the twisties.
Got back to mine, cracked open a cider and Midden prepared our roadkill for the pot.
Went for a bimble through what is called locally as the "Gwaun valley", cutting through the centreof North Pembrokeshire, single track but worth a mooch, ended up at the Presseli Hills...only 40 miles, just a relaxed ride.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
130 miles round trip. Wrexham, Ruthin, St Asaph, Llanrwst, Conwy, Sychnant Pass, Llanfairfechan, (dinner at cafe), Colwyn Bay, St Asaph, Denbigh, Ruthin, Nant y Garth, home. Really warm and humid. Stopped at the Cayley, Rhos on Sea for a drink on the way home. First time I haven't seen a Go Safe van for a long time. Probably in the Bala area after the crash last Sunday.
bashed the rear wheel bearings out after they failed needle roller was mincemeat, all the needles looked like squashed steel maggots! Took a lot of pounding to get the spindle out as the hard sleeve looks like it got hot and galled up.... Waiting for new ones to arrive.
Took the rear PR3 tyre off as it is down to wear marks after 8k miles, got a new PR4 on the way, will see if they are any better.
