Hello everyone,
I`ve started to ride my good old Fazer, and there seems to be a problem with my Aerodynamics. I fel last season, did fix the plastic things and so, basicly is back as a stock, but there seems to be a problem with the noise starting from 80+ km/h..Basicaly if u sit in your position ,the air is making anoying sound in your ears and it still buzze`s after u get off or stop..So it`s kind of anoying, and was wondering if i`m the only one with such a problem..Bought new helmet Scorpion Exo,fits fine and so on,but still the anoying sound is there. If i sit on my fuel tank it`s fine, and if i go behind the "cage" it`s also fine..
Interesting read, I always ride with earplugs and find it far more enjoyable with them without the " stress" of wind noise. I have tried different riding positions and nothing changes the sound level apart from actualy laying on the tank and being completely behind the shield ( i have a DB screen) so apart from looking a twat its unpractical to do
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
I'm with you on the use of earplugs Fazersharp, essential for me on motorway. I'm not too fused riding about town though as I'm a bit deaf in one ear from years of working a lathe. Unfortunately no wine last nite Colin, :tape It's amazing what a google search can bring up these days, it turns us all into experts :lol
Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

Wearing your lid back to front is great at getting rid of wind noise. :thumbup
