clutch cam mechanism
#1
Hi,
Deep cleaned the front sprocket cover today. Its now spotless.

But I want to refill the clutch mechanism with grease.
I have searched the forum as someone posted instructions on what to do.

Can anyone point me at the post please.

Thank you very much, unfazed your a star.....

The only thing that can go wrong now is the screw heads made of cheese don't unscrew.....

The only safe way to undo the two screw holding the mechanism in place is with a left hand drill bit with a variable speed drill.
They are loctited in place and the heat from drilling softens the loctite and being a left hand drill bit they will spin out.
Any other way will break your heart as you will either mangle the heads or shear the heads off and that is from experience.

The method I recommended in the post is the best way to grease the system in place.

Please do, 'cos that one is a corker, that you'd never ever know about.
It's so simple yet extremely effective.  :thumbup
