I have this kind of rack. Also have the original grab rail. Can make measurements tomorrow.

no need I've bit the bullet and bought one.so hopefully I will get it by wednesday.

Make sure you have the correct spacers (and rubber things) if you want to make a straight swap rack for the original grabrails. Those shiny ones seem to be aftermarket/DIY risers. (?)

theyre aftermarket risers, the originals fit inside the rubbers.
