Venezuela - fly out, take a lot of USD. Exchange it at the black market rate, get about 160 bolivars to the $. pay for everything in bolivars, then when you fly back out, exchange your bolivars for $ at the government fixed rate of 12b = $1.

Dominican Republic Peso apparently, about 68 to the £

tip in usd about a 1 or 2 doll bill is fine, atm machines are there for dom rep pesos but you can get charged for them, credit card is best for any tours make sure you tell your provider where you going so they dont block it lol
place is amasing we wnt to cayo levantado for our honeymoon, pillow menu butler service (even run the jacuzzi for your return from the beach if you let them know a time lol)
second time el portillio both Bahi Principe and both out of this world, people are very friendly and be reminded it is a third world country out of the resort
