Yes I want one as well only trouble is it is too tall for me, as it stands, but there are lowering kits available and my dealer has discovered that Yamaha also do a different seat which is lower than the original so he is getting a seat in and will phone me when I can test ride it, in the meantime I'm going to test ride the Triumph 800 XR which also comes with a lower seat.

Yeah, but they all do nowadays don't they. I would imagine many would replace it with something cosmetically more to their own taste anyway. Kitcrazy, if you get one, we will, of course, require a full write-up on what it's like when you've put some miles on it  Smile

Ok so not far off a fazer then really yet the reviews indicate it is light......so it just feels light i suppose rather than actually being light......wonder what the main contributor is to that feeling of lightness

Do you reckon the bars are a contributor then????

I only ask as im soon changing bars on the FZ1 & you used to have a FZ1 so are a good judge......or maybe the Tracer being tall and its centre of gravity just makes it more sorted.

Is this them???

yep thats it. the wide bars definitely help i think. and because it looks a big bike you dont expect it to be so good.

I have sat one one (mt09) and just by sitting on it  seems lighter than my FZS 600. Isnt the mt 09 called a FZ 09 in the states and as it sounds like the perfect all rounder like our beloved fzs 600 shouldnt we have a section on the forum for it
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

We had this discussion before. It may bear a similar name to the Gen 2s, but the Fazer name has been dropped. I think consensus was it was a different bike, therefore shouldn't have a spot on the Fazer Forum.

think its a FJ 09 in the states ? bloody septics carnt help themselves from changing bloody names of things- football/soccer,boot/trunk, rugby/american football, rounders/baseball etc  Wink

and im in the process of organishing myself a test ride on the Tracer from Fowlers in brizzle.lack of time before march is reigning things in for me which is truly annoying as im keen to get my leg over the beastie  :b

where did you get the test ride from mate? Fowlers bike isnt even in store yet,let alone built and up for test riding  :wall
