suppose it depends on the riding style Mac, maybe for you that's not a requirement but I personally will always be in the gear before the corner.
maybe an age thing too, you know us young uns want all the tech whether we know how to use it or actually need it is another thing, all the gear, no idea

but perhaps it's much like the ABS question.

I can see the advantage on a race bike or a track day bike, but for a normal everyday use bike. :rolleyes
I have ridden a few bikes with them and did not see any major advantage on a normal road going bike other than reducing the cash in my pocket :lol
