Gear Selector

Hi can anyone help, where my gear selector attaches to the back of my foot peg there has become a lot of movement not so much as wobbling about but  sliding back and too something has worn do I need a new gear selector or is it something to do with the back of the footpeg. cheers Dave

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago which finally turned out to be the knurl screw holding the shift rod onto the shift shaft was not quite tight enough. Part number 14 in this diagram: https://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk...haft?uID=0
