I'm not a fan. Looks too much going on - if that makes sense?
I know I'm comparing it to my naked MT-09, so I'm used to, well, the nakedness ![]()

Looks like another Tiger or a GS copy which all look the same to me. Definitely not an FZ!

Still doesn't really meet the specification of the Fazer in my opinion; particularly not the thou

yuk.

I like it. Sort of little multistrada/tiger type of bike with a cracking power delivery!
It's not a Fazer though.

My take exactly.
Reasonably cool, but it's yet another adventure tourer, to join half the Triumph range, half the BMWs, the V-Strom, etc etc etc. I argue that no new bike out there is worthy of the Fazer name. Fazers are versatile, half faired, street bikes with sports tourer comfort and bottom end sports bike performance. The Street Bike category is one sadly missed.

Ohh there's something out of Yamaha worthy of a Fazer tag...I LIKE THAT

Looks like it has hard panniers mounts as standard that don't ruin the look of the bike.....At last..

Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.

So a half faired, street bike which looks comfy enough and with MT-09 performance (more than sufficient to deal with the old FZS600) is no where near good enough?

The screen needs to be wider though that gap is plain stupid on a bike that's going to do miles

Ugly and why is it that every bike is look as if its missing a good solid hunk of metal between the legs.

it has some promise but it isn't quite there
agreed a more cool looking front screen would improve it a bit....it's like a hybrid gen 2 cross Tiger. I think some modded ones could look pretty nifty but that photo isn't exactly inspiring but I bet it handles like a gen 2 but is more comfy and id be all for that.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Not looking good is it? More pics here:
http://www.nieuwsmotor.nl/motornieuws/20...mt-09.html I reckon if someone could mount a Fazer fairing on a naked 09 it would look a bit better. Excuse the crappy mspaint job but I was at work. ![]()
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

Mr SD, you should go and work for Yamaha's design department, that looks pretty good!
