In case your not aware, some info on how to remove the headlight lense without damaging it (see below). I used the oven trick when I refurbished the headlight on my bandit 600.

Thanks for info, I have dismantled a few over the years, but always with a heat gun.

Where can you get those lights?

I will drop them an email as that may have made a mounting plate for the projectors so you can take the reflectors out completely, like they did for the Mk1 FZS600 -

  Thanks for your message.

  1. We do use a normally spray paint for the reflectors, please use a primer before.
  2. The reflectors can still be used indeed.
  3. We have new rubber housing caps, what we included.
  4. We have made some splitters so you can use both projectors for low light and for high light.
  5. There’s a new wire harness to unburden your original wire harness.

1.      You didn’t mention how you sprayed the old reflectors black.
2.      I assume as you have retained the reflectors that the vertical/horizontal adjustment is still present.
3.      How did you guys seal the back of the headlight, by default its had a rubber cap that fits around the back of the H4 bulb and the headlight body.
4.      Can I assume one of the projectors was for low beam and the other for hi-beam? And can I assume that hi-beam stayed on with the low beam..?
5.      How did you wire the HID kits into the existing wiring loom connectors.?
