Nice bike in the best colour too
Thanks
Took a slightly scenic route home today and stopped at the transported bridge for a cheeky photo. ![]() ![]() Found this on arriving home :'( ![]() pulled it out had gone in sideways not straight into the tyre - no air leak ![]() ![]() this was the problem ![]()
Wow... V lucky with the bolt.. Bike looks good but the gate looks faster :-))
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup.... :-))

fitted short levers ![]() ![]() Pillion grab handle with caps - a lot cleaner looking and better quality paint ![]() ![]() stainless manifold - amazed at the difference in weight and internal bore ![]() ![]() K and N filter and torque arm to go

So I set about the K and N this morning - My brother was visiting so he got roped into helping and was supporting the tank (full of fuel) as I got the filter in and tightened down the cover he turns and says "My hand is wet and smells like petrol - look its pouring out the side"
so quickly removed the tank and placed on its side to find this ![]() Looks a little odd but I luckily had Gregs tank sat in my shed ![]() ![]() after the drama of a tank swap returned to fitting the last piece from Noggy ![]() ![]() and then had the chance to clean one of the downpipes ![]() used astonish and it works well just need to do the other 3 now

(13-07-14, 10:13 PM)MarkWales link Wrote: should have a look - how bad was the damage? It is dings on the upper half so not where the fuel and water rots through...just a shame......lets say for arguments sake that a part of the tank inner liner has come off under the bashes and into the fuel....well ive had no issues since the crash and when i emptied the fuel it came out clean and straight i to the thou and the petrol lawnmower. I cant guarantee it but i can say that it is probably 95% better than the one you have....almost disposable for £25 and could run for years and years while you find a mint one......mind it is an 00, 01 tank though so best check if theres any fitment differences....if it fits then it is instant more capacity than yours.
