But which would you save if your garage was burning down?

Got to be the Gen 1
![]() I was at a dealer looking at an MT 09 and he wanted me to PX my bike against it . He showed me a couple of Gen 2's which he has had sat around for 18+ months (both nice clean bikes) with zero interest. He said "I could sell clean Gen 1's all day long". I don't understand it myself, but the buying public are very fickle, as both are very nice bikes for everyday use. I wont be selling my Gen 1 its a keeper, well not until it is worth more than £10K. ![]() I had kawasaki triples in the late 70's,500 & 750, and they are north of £10k for a clean original one now. I also had RD and LC yams and they seem to be £4-5 K plus :eek

Yup if we'd have kept our old bikes we could retire with what they are worth now. SS50, S1C, KH250, RD250E, LC250 + 350 kinda went down hill after that though, CX500, GS550, GSX550 think' I'd better stop before it gets worse.

FZS600, Speed Triple 1050, FZS1000, DT175MX etc.

I've pretty much kept my old bikes since the early 80's, hence 11 bikes in the garage. Pity I didn't keep my FS1E, my KH250 B2, or the CB 500/4. :-(
