Uruguay will be desperate for the win too....should be a cracking game....but I think Uruguay will edge it as they are dirtier, more aggressive and will con the ref with their antics.

I cheered for Uruguay, but to be fair, England were the better team. Uruguay goals, the first one especially is just 2 brilliant individuals. Defense wasn't bad, it was just perfectly timed and accurate passing.


2nd goal is really bad luck. OK, defense could have dropped the offside trap attempt and rushed behind Suarez as soon as the ball was kicked forward, but I don't see any tactical (or defensive) flaw in that, as much as bad luck.


Deserved victory, fair, but still feels like the better side lost.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

I don't think England were the better team tbh.

They believe their own hype too much and don't work hard enough as a team.

Uruguay saw a weakness in Englands defense and exploited it by playing long all the time and it paid off.
