Or any chance someone could measure the free length of one for me pretty please.

I 'might' have one, I have a vague memory of seeing one somewhere. If I find it I will send it with the indicators.

Turns out it was a bandit 600/1200 CS spring, its probably longer and not as beafy. Get one from your local dealer they are only £10 or so I believe.
