Do you think this is is right??
#1
Three nights ago my son was involved in an incident with the boyfriend of our next door neighbor !...all he did was put his arm out to stop him passing on the shared drive and getting in to her house!  the reason being not quite a week ago he had beat his girlfriend black and blue with a metal pipe! ,also threatening to kill her kids if she shouted out, whilst doing so?...anyway earlier the other evening when this happened she had sent for the police to get her and her kids away from the house has he was at her back door threatening to put a garden slab through the glass to get in after being turned away by her? he then did a runner before police turned up but came back later that evening!...anyway when my son confronted him and told him to go away he attacked him knocking him to the ground then kicking him in his ribs and breaking one?...my son managed to get a punch in knocking him over a fence, but he then came back at him like a raging bull and stamped on his head several times rendering him concuss! he then took to his heals and ran off again? we sent for the police and ambulance who didnt arrive for 58 mins?.....he was admitted to hospital they kept him in over night till 10am next morning!!...any way after the police advised my son to have him charged we where told to let them know when he was discharged from hospital so they would come over to take his statement!!...that was booked for tonight at 8pm!!...at 2pm he gets a phone call from the officer that is dealing with it saying ...that after reading through his notes he has decided that if my son goes ahead and prossicutes then he will have to arrest him for causing an affray!!! :eek ...and it will be him that gets done for confronting him!!! can this be right!??????????

Tell the copper to go ahead and arrest him for the affray and get the news papers involved. CPS will drop it like anything once they realise what a prick the PC is.

Good on your son for doing the right thing........if I remember correctly....the queens speach last week mentioned something about this type of thing. You son should not be on any sort of charge, take it all the way, you'll get thousands backing you......speedy recovery to your son...top man  :thumbup

sounds like Mr Plod is trying to fix the crime stats. which is more important than enforcing the law?

hope your son recovers quickly and puts a claim in for criminal injuries, because when its a policeman they have a year or two off on full pay?

As Red says.

And a speedy recovery.

Makes you wonder what they do class as "SERIOUS" & worthy of quick response. Surely this is ABH/GBH?
no wonder joe public decides to look the other away when the "upholders of the law" fail to respond to a situation & no wonder the scrotes are laughing at the rest of us!

I really feel for your son and hope he makes a speedy recovery , if they insist on charging your son definitely go to the papers , in the light of recent cases it will be dropped .
I have been having problems with five  families either side of me  in  recent weeks , and have had to put up with a mob drinking on the pavement  directly outside my house , throwing all there emptys all over the place , playing loud music in there front garden till the early hours ,and intimidating my wife and daughters and threatening to burn the house down . It all came to ahead this weekend , when I confronted them about it and words were exchanged . My immediate neighbour who I share a drive with , put a crappy piece of fence up which left me with a 3ft gap  to get out onto the path so I can,t get my car on to my drive but he can get his car on to his drive . My daughter texted me to warn me they were doing this and not to react as there were a dozen of them outside all drunk waiting for me to get home . When I got home they were all there dogging me up and smirking  , I  walked to my house looking straight ahead  ignoring them . I got changed got the pushbike out ignored them as I went out and went for a ride for 40mins . On Saturday he tried to apologize and said he was wrong and would take it down , I told him I had already reported it to the council and they would take it down and send him the bill  , and told him that from now on I will report every bit of antisocial behaviour and any threats I will call the police , and I will have police there every day . On Sunday morning I took the fazer out went out for about 4 hours , when I got back  the shit stirrer  was there smirking again , I put the bike round the back and flipped , I went out kicked the fence down , grabbed the lump hammer and started to loosen the post , he started shouting ,  other neighbours came out , I shouted back at him told him to get his mates and kick my head in , I had my back to him hitting the post , he went to attack me and other people pulled him back  , my wife and daughter were  screaming , I told them to phone the police , I went in and waited for the police to arrive , when the police arrived  he said  you  look guilty, I explained what happened and the on going harassment  , he said not that much to feel guilty about Its a bloody state anyway , he took my statement and said he would get onto the housing office but advised me not to hit him as that's what they want ,  not to stay in the house  for a couple of nights , as the mob was back outside , he had words with them and took some pictures ,  when I got back at 8.30pm after visiting my mum who is recovering in hospital from a serious operation , they had put it back up and were all there waiting again so we had to walk through a gauntlet again . After an hour when they had gone , we started putting stuff into the car to get away for a few nights , I,m back home now but we are all just living on our nerves .  My sister who works  as police  case officer , is trying to help .

thats terrible.......hard to know what to do in these circumstances, should`nt have to move out of your own home because of scumbags like this, very easy to loose your rag in situations like this especially when your family is involved, but of course if you react your in the wrong, foccing annoys me just thinking about it..........think your sisters your best option here......take it easy matey and i really do hope you can sort things out quickly.......and dont forget.......loads of backing on here if you need it .

Jesus guys, I really feel for you both. What the hell is happening here? When did society and the police become like this? You read about this all the time in the papers, but when it happens to two blokes on a bike specific forum it brings it home how real this is, and how often it's happening. Atb to you both...

:agree  If the foccers  within a nice days ride were to do this I reckon it would be a nice wee show.

I am sooooooooooooooo lucky where I live and glad  I do as I have access to some nasty tools !! There are 3 villages near me where youth ( 18 - 21 year olds ) tried to take over, it didn't work and the local police stayed out the way.

Good luck to both of you.

Come on forccers, give this man a show of hands.
Better to stand and look a fool than speak and prove it !
If it aint broke, I'll fix it till it is !!
