Sharpening up the appearance of the Fazer!

Hi,


I'm looking to sharpen up the bike without going overboard! I have done some minor changes already:


1. Delkevic end can (mainly for sound purposes)
2. Wheel rim tape
3. Higher darkened screen
4. Anodised screen bolts


I have also just picked up some stainless downpipes for £40 from a t reg fazer, I'm hoping they fit my foxeye!
What are people's thoughts on:


1. Stainless radiator cover
2. Smaller indicators
3. Further decals


Any other suggestions to improve the bikes appearance?

If it is red, silver or yellow you could paint it blue of course.

you could then add a radiator cover (as you suggest), fork gaiters to protect the stanchions, flush fitting indicators and a guard on the front of the pipes to protect the engine and electrics, along with a rather fetching picture on the front of that guard to your own personal choice.  .[size=78%] [/size]

First step is to change the stuff that rusts for stuff that doesn't!  Downpipes, Stainless bolts all round except for brake and disc bolts (can go titanium if feeling flush). Braided brake lines, the XJR torque arm.  Get a fazer thou rear brake whilst you are at it as the std one seizes.

Stainless (not chromed steel) rad covers are good.

Re-positioning the legal numberplate higher and trimming the undertray tidies up the back end, add a hugger mudguard and it looks good.

Rearsets would be nice as the gar and brake arms rust too.  Also the usual lower bars.

Flush and mini indicators generally aren't as visible.  I've only got mini indicators on teh rear because of my rack and high level exhaust.


Don't get headlight covers - silly to make the lights worse.  There are clear indicator and brake cluster lenses available that can look good.

More decals usually looks like covered up crash damage!

Rather than changing the indicators I just changed the lenses for clear ones with a set of orange bulbs, plenty of kits on ebay for pretty cheap and it really sharpened up the look of the bike.
