Offered: FZS600 Front Fairing
#1
Hi,

My bike was involved in an accident about a month ago. The dozy woman at work reversed her car in to my bike, knocking it over. The damage was mainly the pillion footpeg hanger and my front fairing. I have bought a replacement fairing for my bike and its now fitted (minus stickers).
I was going to offer my old one up to the forum, no cash just postage costs, if it helps? The fairing is Gold or Deepish Yellow Red as Yamaha call it, its a Boxeye 99 model. I will post pictures of the damage when I get a chance, its not at mine just now. I also need to use it to make sure i get my stickers lined up correct.
There is a  patch of deep scratching at the front along with a broken infill clip, I have all of the clip so might be possible to plastic weld? I had it glued before.

Would there be any interest in this? If not I'll be binning it or see if any other forums have use for it.

Cheers

Na mate this will not be any use to you. Do you want new or used? You could use the Yamaha Parts catalogue link below and get part number and speak to Fowlers or Wemoto if you want new.

Took some pics today, more can be taken if needed?

Pic1 - This shows worst of the damage, some deep scratching to the fairing, where curb caught fairing.
Pic2 - This shows fairing front on, you can see Yamaha sticker is missing a bit.
Pic3 - This shows some rub marks on side, if you look at the indicator mount too its got a small crack.
Pic4 - This show the broken lug for infill panel attachment, i still have the broken bit as shown in pic, possible plastic weld? I Had it super glued and worked fine.
