First thing being replaced is that screen. its absolutely useless at keeping the wind off! not sure wether to go DB, or touring though..

If you are keeping suspension standard the absolute best thing you can buy is a 25mm jack up kit, which makes the bike really flickable, (just like the 600) but still totally stable at 140+ Only cost £18.00 on fleabay.  Smile
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

that wont be happening! I can only just get a foot down as is, without adding another inch to the height :lol Im only a wee short arse Wink.

Suspension will be staying standard for this season, I may fit ohlins/hagon/nitron in the winter though (just dont tell her indoors!)

Thats not a standard screen, it looks like a touring size one (not to be confused with the American style barn door touring screen).

Good luck in finding a screen, I have had mine ten years and tried at least 10 different screens from shorter to touring to vario to bolt on blade all have their positive and negatives but mostly negatives  Sad

my 600 had a different screen on it which was much better I thought.... unfortunately I dont know which screen it had on as it came with it (double bubble I think).

The one on at the moment is dreadful - sweeps backwards so draws air right towards your chest/head. Think ill try a double bubble first and see how I go from there Smile

Nice bike mick I find mine more flickable and certainly more solid on the road if that makes sense. Mine has the r6 shock and forks dropped 10mm through the yokes courtesy of devilsyam. The engine just feels like your in about 3 gear all the time even though I'm in top. Anyway bring on the good weather to get out and enjoy.
