Distance was OK to be honest ChristoT. But I have this silly inflatable seat cover thingy which mostly kept the piles away. (Not an Airhawk, older!)

did 510 mile between sat & sun mostly wet, got a ticket 5 mile from home 78 in a 60, 3 points and £100 :'( was not a happy bunny.

Never really thought of it that way...I prefer to commit to a ride when no salt on the road to get it tested and if anything is needed (which it hasn't yet) then the weather is better to do it.
I do the same with cars.

Not what I have done today but what I received to fit tomorrow, I ordered a set of Fazer 400 headlights which have double dip and high beam fitment.
I got them for very reasonable price delivered from Rep Ireland from a very helpful chap called Tommy. I will let you know how I get on.
ps I think he may have a couple more but not sure.
