Strange line on tyre
#1
Strange line on tyre  BT 023 Tyre I have been noticing this for a while now and mostly put it down to rotating and dragging the wheel when cleaning but its not that. And its not from under the guard Its a wobbly line all around the tire and just off centre its darker and you can feel it. Having googled it I have come across a few with the exact same issue here

So the web tells me its an anti static thing ??? Anyone else here with the same line I have an 021 on the back which does not have it. From what I remember it wasn't there from brand new but appeared after a few miles

Yes it's normal. I understand it's a conductive material so the tyre can discharge static charge, like the little things they used to have near the rear wheels on cars. Noticed it on my 023, looks wrong how it wobbles about off-centre in the tyre but never done any harm.

Ok thats good to know
Its not on the older 021 rear tyre so it must be a new thing but why was it not a problem then but is now. I wonder if that is a cover story to mask a cheeper manafacturing process

S'pose a photo would be too much to ask?
Maybe buy a tyre that doesn't rotate so much?  :lol
