Nice! Is it from a different bike or aftermarket to fit a Fazer?

So I have had a bit of a miss fire on the bike and when I drained the carburetor  bowls found I had a large amount of water and rust bubbles. When I checked the clear fuel filter I have installed I could see the orange going through the filter (not good)decided to book the bike in to have the carburetors cleaned and balanced - beyond my current ability.

In preparation for this I today drained and removed the tank then flushed the tank with detergent and plenty of water once fully dried out replaced the fuel.

There was about a litre of really contaminated crap I removed from the tank  :eek

When flushing out the tank I saw what looked to be more like flakes of fish food than rust.

Fuel going through the filter now flows clear as hoped. need to use the thing more to prevent this happening again!

Dropped the bike off this morning to have a few jobs done:

Carbs off and cleaned
Clean carbs Balanced
replace all filters and oil service

And MOT

Lazy on the filters but he offered a really good deal and the bike will all be sorted.

That's great news, it's nice when that happens. I suspect your mpg might go up now too! (just seen the marker sat there at 47.4!)

I assume you've taken her for a suitably interesting rewarding ride?

Clear LED rear lamp unit with integrated indicators - seller has offered refund for the damage - however I think I will try and reseal the unit and keep as they go for 4 times what I paid, just disappointed the seller did not inform of the true condition.

removed the slightly damaged Speedometer Rotor - Might be the problem

Off to source one in the morning

also moved the front fender up fully as it was rubbing lightly on the tyre - passed MOT like it

plastic - so I think genuine I slackened off the bolts and pushed up and then re tightened them with the fender at its highest point - I did the front first and then the rears - Shocked how much higher I managed to get it

What size tyre are you running - this is mine

Sounds simple enough, i'll give that a try

Mine are 110/70/R17 so a wee bit slimmer.

Will need to wait a few days though...overtime, mothers day & general stuff has got in the way this time.

110/70 is the correct size. But many do fit 120s as they're more common, and cheaper. General consensus is that it does not have a good effect on handling, and that 110s are better for the bike.
