Just a quick update, after a few fill-ups of fuel, my MPG shot up to 56! A major improvement over the mid-40's I was getting

56 mpg.....does that include yesterdays blast back from h`s cafe ?

Haha, no it doesn't. But that was between Chelmsford and our fuel stop during the rideout. Got 51 MPG before that, but that included time spent with the old mixture settings. Going out for a run today in a few minutes and will need to fill up again so should have an idea of how the bike is doing when giving a good thrashing about ^^

MPG ended up being 48 - but previous blasts had got the bike down to 40-43 so its definitely a big improvement
![]() To be honest, spending most of the time between 8-12k in the rev range was bound to hurt the MPG but I think 48 was damn good considering
Hey, do you think that this may work for the 3rd cylinder?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LASER-Angled-S...5afa292296 I've bought already this "3 piece Offset Double Sided Angle Screwdriver Set Cranked Bent Wrench", because there is no big loss even if it does not: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230961729545?s...1497.l2649 Any ideas, what can I buy so it works, without benting, welding etc. etc. as I don't have proper garage.

I thought that you don't need to swing that tool (the one I've posted). I thought you can turn the kunrled knob (sounds horrible :] ).
Anyway, still got problem with the 3rd cylinder idle screw. If there is anyone that tested any tool that I can just click & buy, please post the link. Thanks in advance. |
