Yeah, and still with the small peugeot classic problem of lift off oversteer, when you finally get up the speed. :lol

I remember that all too well Tongue

I do however remember driving faster in it (on some roads) than I do in my current car... which has nearly 4x the amount of power :\

You really did have to plant your foot to the floor on the motorway and if anyone pulls out in front of you, it takes about 10 miles to get back up to speed :lol

It was the same engine that you currently have, the 1.5 ltr Diesel

This is the 106 Rallye series 1, i've always fancied one.

Apparently you'll never find a more fun car to drive.....well for the budget i suppose.

2nd pic is the series 2 which is a little bit beefier...this one being piloted by Cristo! Big Grin

A friend of mine had a 205gti I think it was. It was a mental yoke. Great fun. If you got stuck in traffic in it would start over heating instantly. The dash warped and went shiney from the heat of the engine :lol

Nearly as good as the  RWD Twin Cam Corolla for loosing the back,  :lol  except that lifting off the throttle in the Corolla meant it straightened up.  :lol
