Luggage on the FZ8
#1
I'd like to do some traveling with my FZ8 so have been looking at saddlebag racks. Has anyone used the SW-Motech saddlebag racks?

Since they haven't been reviewed on this site either they have never sold any or they are neither particularly good or bad. Looks like they will carry as much as my Concours with the Givi bags and could be removed quickly once I arrived. They also fit a FZ1 ...  Wink

No, not used those.

My last big trip I just used my Oxford Sports panniers. They didn't sit that well on the bike due to the shape of the tail unit. But, at least they didnt fall off or get stuck in the wheel or anything.

Looking through the motohaus catalog http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/Yamaha_...Cases.html for a UK price £207 for the bars.

I spotted these also at £207, for a neat looking pannier and bars set to secure everything too.

Yamaha's option looks like the same kit but with Yamaha on it.

The cheapest option is still strap a bag to the pillion grab rails.

Thanks for the links but I've seen most of those options and while they look nice anything smaller than the Givi 35 L cases won't work. I have to bring a CPAP machine along every where I go so I need the space. I travel comfortably on my Concours and hate to give up any "luxuries" .  Smile

Hi guys, ive just joined forum site, I am just reading about luggage options for fazer 8. I am off to Europe in June, (my first trip) I'm looking to purchase saddle bags or top box, I recently fitted a r&g tail tidy. does anyone know what luggage will fit? any luggage opinions would be grateful.  The sw motech blaze bags look as if they will fit?
