What did you do with whatever else you've got?
#1
As I have been booted off the "What did you do with your Fazer today?" thread for posting up comments about Kwaks and Peugeots (you bastards!  :lol :lol ), I'm throwing the toys out of the pram, and making my own thread. So there.  :b

So, if you have a nice car, other bike, or even a nice girlfriend (ooh err missus!  :eek ) - what did you do with it today?

I'll start: Cancelled the insurance on the ZX4... And got a pittance back (compared to what I paid the fuckers). :'( :'( :'(

And put fuel in the Peugeot  :car . Foc me, I'm only getting 57mpg out of a diesel!  :eek I miss my bikes...  :'(

Ye rayburn  fazers & skodas, such good taste we have. 8)

Shame Cristo doesn't have either. :o

Never mind Cristo, my missus is throwing out her old hair dryer if you want to experience some real power  Wink , your natural enemy is now the elderly gent in the suzuki wagon-r & even then you've got no chance.

How long til your Bassbox install thread?, a couple o 6x9's & the latest Scooter CD should sort you out.

There was one 106 that was worthy though....the Rallye...stripped out go cart, i'd have one of those.

I had a 106 1.5 Diesel as my first car - was great fun, albeit completely gutless Tongue

In any case, not today, but recently treated my car to a decent and much needed service. New oil (fecking 6 litres...), filters, plugs (which were an absolute bitch due to it being a V6 and 3 of them being hidden...)

Also bought some GTechniq kit (water repellent stuff) which appears to be doing its job, but not as well as I had hoped. Waiting for a decent day to go out and apply another coat (tried putting 3 on the windshield in one go but that appears to have been the wrong thing to do? Pfft who needs instructions)

Next job is working up the energy to finally deal with the god damn gearbox swap I have been planning for 9 months and the timing belts I have been planning for over a year...

I wish I had a decent size garage :'(

Rode the XX in to work and didn't get rained on too much  Big Grin  I also have work to do on my car, I've either got a clogged fuel filter, knackered injector(s) or the fuel pump is dying.  Hoping it's the filter or, more likely but a bit more expensive, injector.  Failed fuel pump will write the car off :/

I'd love a Tuono, defo my type of bike, they look mighty.

Ive got a monte Carlo too mate, tsi, its responsible for me not getting a tuono sadly.

Red knows the funny story behind my joining of Briskoda where i put my gripe down to the site intro ergonomics rather than the members themselves, its worth a look in the briskoda intro section.

In culminated in me calling reds bluff & being the proud owner of the mighty fazer 1200 :eek

I went for a spin on my 1989 XJ600, Wrexham, Ruthin, Denbigh, St Asaph, Abergele ( popped in to Woods Motorcycles ), Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea, and return. Sat on the prom for an hour, coffee and teacakes at the Cayley cafe. 91 miles total. Windy, sunny spells, not cold. Just washed the bike and put it to bed until the weekend.

Did a 'rebuild' of the master cylinder on my CB500 (which has had a hard time of it this winter..). Have learnt once again the folly of using pattern parts..
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back it said, "Wish you were here."

I've just taken down the ceiling in the lounge which was already double layered and used my trusty old Beemer Touring to transport all the broken plaster board to the dump. The final load was several tubs of dust and nails that was swept up. Just before the entrance to the dump is a small roundabout. Feck, one of the tubs rolled over then rolled to the back of the car. I could not have made a bigger mess if I'd just thrown the dust straight into the back.
It's now pissing down so I can't get outside to clean it up.. What a twonk
