I have a house that requires them in the kitchen and front room as they serve as the only exit in the house,
I am looking for info on installing them, suppliers etc, I am told that the firms are very expensive to install them,so is was wondering if anyone could give me info as to the requirements needed for a legal system, I already have suspended ceilings with plumbing in them so concealment of pipework no problem. I am a plumbing and heating engineer so hoped i could install myself. Any info gratefully accepted.

I will ask the engineers at work on Monday. the companies I deal with are big companies like tyco, compco, hall & kay etc that do sprinklers for big buildings. I'll find out if the guys know of smaller companies.
