If I never hear that Slade one again I'll be a happy man.
Best would be the Pogues/McColl, Waitresses and I reckon Greg Lake's "I believe in Father Christmas" deserves an honourable mention too.

Dig a VERY deep hole, chuck em all in and fill with concrete - job done.

Why is Christmas an excuse for crap music/song writing? Plus, the sentiments expressed are hypocritical mush.

Bah humbug? Bah, bollocks.

:lol

There is one that I kinda like by Blink 182 - but it ain't exactly Christmasy! (can't remember what it's called either)

Its becoming increasingly rare these days to find people who don't instantly start moaning and complaining about the Christmas season - yes it gets dragged out, no I don't like the westernisation of obligatory present swapping, but that doesn't stop me from getting in the spirit and enjoying the holiday season.

Got to admit the only things I dislike about Christmas are the songs, the rest I love. The longer it gets dragged out the better! The great food, parties, TV, presents, seeing friends & family you've not seen for ages (my family is spread all over the country), the midnight mass at church (my wife's a christian), the crowds in town doing the shopping in the bitter cold, I love it all.  Big Grin
