A while back I repaired a FZS600 that had those type of bars on during a fairly high speed slide down the road and flipped over part way. The fairing was smashed to bits and those bars where worn part way through on both sides, but they sure did a good job of protecting the engine side covers and probably stopped more seriouse damage to the engine.

I have at least 3 sets of the full wrap around crashbars that will probably need a sand and paint, sick of tripping over them in the workshop. If anyone needs any?

I have 3 sets of crash bars, no bolts or spacers but can tell you what you need to make them fit hence a tenner a set
