Important for thoose wishing to source own R6 shock
#1
Admin might be good to sticky

rite i have no issues with people wanting to source there own r6 shock, and indeed i have supplied dogbone and spacers kits to suit
however it is becoming more common (two this week) for you lot to buy the WRONG SHOCK

This is because breakers and ebay sellers will list the shock as fit 2005-2011 or will claim it's from a later bike
true the shocks will fit all r6's but only ONE fits the fazer

THE SHOCK BELOW WILL NOT FIT EVEN WITH A HAMMER

THIS ONE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT FITS IF IT DONT LOOK LIKE THIS WALK AWAY

Main clue is the adjusters wrong shock has two separate un's

If in any doubt pm or email me

like wise if you need any info on set up i am more than happy to
help

Another success story with the R6 shock upgrade. Fitted mine today.
Its light years ahead of the std shock (mine with heavier spring fitted), and like someone else on this site mentioned the rebound was all or nothing, mine was all and crashing over bumps having to put up with it so she wouldn't wallow around and want to run wide.
Bumps are now properly absorbed and the steering is far better. The bike fells lighter to ride, drops into corners more willingly and much more confidence inspiring.
I'm not the best at wheelies but tried a couple of small clutch ups in 1st and the bikes front wheel comes up much easier  - and not coming up to quickly or not at all, like it was before.

Thanks for the kit Devilsyam, clear photo instructions included made it a straight forward job.
