So does insurance reduce per bike when owning 2 or 3? After all one arse on two even 3 seats is a big ask.

Depends on the insurance company, but most are of the opinion that if you're riding one then the other is pretty safe, this is where security helps with reducing the premium more!
But don't expect the 2nd bike to be an extra tenner, it'll be more, but not ridiculous!

Plus, the more vehicles you have, the fewer miles each one will do in a year. So reduce your estimated mileage and the premium should drop.


I have a Fazer and a Mondeo. I declared 15000 miles a year on the car but reduced it to 9000 when I got the bike, and got a reduction slightly less than the admin charge for doing so.  :rolleyes
Will see a saving next year though.
