New Fazer owner in Northern Ireland
#1
Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought a blue 2003 FZS600 in April, and passed my test on it 2 months later. Its a very clean bike, 19k, 2 owners from new. Bit of a late comer to motorbikes (25 years old) but a few of my friends always had bikes so I thought I'd give it a try and loved it. I decided on a Fazer because I wasn't into the racebikes (CBRs, Gixxers etc.) that my friends have, and wanted something a bit more comfortable that I could not only have fun on, but that I could also do a bit of long distance touring on, and so far I am delighted with my choice.

I have a few questions, and ideas that I'll be looking for advice and opinions on, but I'll post them in good time. In the mean time I just wanted to say hello.

Yeah I'm finding that too, I've been member of a few forums over the years, generally classic car owners forums, but the people on here seem much more friendly/helpful.

Me too. I belong to a Triumph forum as well, and it's just a load of grumpy old blokes taking lumps out of each other.
This site is a very welcome relief. Everybody helps each other, and the banter is just for fun  Big Grin

Welcome to the forum.  When I grow up I'm going to be a grumpy old bloke, but in no rush to grow up it seems over rated.
