It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Looking good!

How much of a ball-ache was the digi gear indicator?

It's something I'm definitely thinking about, sick of going for 7th gear!

Learn to count?  :lol :lol :lol

I did that on the Fazer as well. And on my 125. I guess it's a bike thing.  Big Grin

You're still going for 7th, even with the gearing you're running?!

Sounds crazy right!? I just want MOOORE!!!  :evil

Straight after the change, it did feel like I'd been given an extra gear. It was great! But as with all things bike, I soon got used to it. It's only really when I'm taking it easy that I go for 7th. Fuel economy, noisy can and all that.  :rolleyes

When I'm, spanking it, I never even get to top before the speed limit comes around! Sure I'm not alone there...

Don't worry for me, I have a healthy respect for the speed limit and not going faster when there's no room for it! I'm pretty keen on staying shiny side up. Plus I don't bounce like I used to!

Looks nice Fizzy. Armstrong discs - what's your verdict? Talking of discs, did you happen to sell your original discs on ebay... cos if so I might be the one who bought them off you!

Haven't got any decent pics I'm afraid, bit of a mess atm  :\

Actually you've made me think I ought to give it a wash and take a photo before winter really starts to take it's toll!

Very nice Fazer, Fizzy mate

I've always liked the look of the original fazer shape and happy to have one now myself.  Yours is looking mighty fine indeed. The gear indicator looks like a cool gadget I could put on my xmas list lol.
This week I've been mostly tinkering in the garage

That is really interesting. I've been wanting to do something like that but I really don't have the resources or skill to make such a bracket. Anymore details?

Always find myself having to look down from the road to see my TomTom and something like this would make a heck of an improvement.

Looking forward to seeing the contraption when it's finished and how much of a difference you find it makes. I have a Tomtom urban rider which doesn't need a case but I imagine it's pretty much the same.

That's unusual the way you have the wires going upwards on the grips, especially on the throttle!
