....there is a pattern with engines being sold on ebay though?...they all seem to be around the 30k mark as anyone noticed this?....even complete bikes for sale?..majority again around 30k.....

That engine gave me zero problems during my ownership of it. And as the receipts Mr Red has will confirm, the engine got regular servicing and oil changes.

[/quote]...calm down there young christo"...not saying there is anything wrong with it?...all ime saying is the majority on ebay have around the 30k mark on em!!....and yes yours can be heard running and pauls got reciepts for whats been done!!...all helps with the sale .....
6 watchers now but no bids :\ .....reading on this forum theres not many that have had total engine failure, good strong units, took the head off mine at 40,000 and no wear what so ever.....two days to go but no questions or viewings yet ...........can relist for free if it dos`nt sell
i think it will sell but mabe at last min"..alot of buyers like to wait till last few hours before they commit !!...the starting price of it is ok?...but mabe they want to keep it low so it goes for close to it?....good thing is though? you provin to potential buyers that theres nothing wrong with it by hearing it running?...you dont get that luxury at a breaker very often?.....
Don't get too disappointed just yet Red98. When I have sold anything on ebay it is usually in the last few minutes and seconds that the bidding gets going. You and ChristoT might still be smilling .

I certainly hope so... Just checked insurance quotes for a Fazer (yeah, back in the UK for now), and it'll take a financial miracle for me to be able to afford anything bigger than 50cc. And even then...
Last October, Fazer insurance was £750. Now, it's £1300. :'( :'( :'( I can't even afford a bike, let alone insurance!

Considering how well the engine runs, I'm cutting my own arm off here. Deefer, meet us halfway @£125? And consider yourself bloody lucky? :b
