Bike has been on the dyno today, mainly to make sure the fuelling is ok.
Spec is ivans so kit, ported intake rubbers, modded airbox intake oe filter, quill legal slip on and a little bit of magic dust.
Dyno operator has an R1 4xv and was quite impressed with the scores on the doors.
Nearest guess gets an old lawnmower spark plug.

Reading about the claims made for that model,130 140 bhp at the rear wheel,,so you have done all those mods,,i guess

135.5 and 75ft/lb
Made more power from 3-8k than his R1, which is where I spend 90% of my riding.
Magic dust was degreeing in the cams and getting more air into the motor.
Fuelling was cock on, thank you ivan

@ Lez72, looks like we'll have to negotiate joint custody of that old spark plug then....

Post the power/torque curves. I get 137 (might even be 136) bhp from my modded FZ1 but would be interested to see how different the deliveries are between models

OK OK, so it was 135bhp and 71ft/lb torque, splitting hairs yeah  :lol

So, performance related mods are...

MIVV Can with baffle in
PC3 power commander and custom map
IVAN's smaller throttle flies
K&N filter

I wonder if another couple of bhp would have been freed if I took the baffle out? Chose not to as I wanted the custom map to be built based on the setup that i'd be using (ie, baffle in).

Umm. Maybe we could share it. You put it in your mower next year and if it still has any life left in it in 2015 you can bung it my way  :rollin
