what did you do with your fazer today ?
Found a water leak.  Was sitting at traffic lights on the way to work with a puddle developing under me, and it wasn't because I'd had too many coffees in the morning.  Managed to temp fix it to get home in the evening though and need to replace the pipe this weekend.

Found my old VFR rear seat cowl in red, so got a close colour match, resprayed it and made it fit, also fitted some tiny rear indictators and strengthened the floppy tail tidy someone had fitted, oh and with the same stainless steel i made the indicator brackets.

Cleaned bike, dried it, Yamalube in and brimmed tank. ACF 50 applied. Carbs drained, plastic taped over exhaust to stop little creatures making a home in there. See you in April, Fazer ! Out on XJ600 from now on, probably up to Bangor Pier tomorrow, weather permitting.

I started the jobs I was planning for winter , removed the battery , fuel tank and radiator so I can remove the ais and paint the front of the engine. Loosened off the exhaust header nuts which were surprisingly easy to undo - then rain stopped play .

Faffed around trying to get my soldering iron to work and finally managed to get a switched live feed wired in to the fuse box so that I can power my heated grips via a relay... just need to figure out where the hell I am going to mount the stupid bloody switch so that I can route and crimp the remaining wiring... damn nightmare as I'd rather not drill in to plastics...

Is it bad that I completely missed that typo in the first message and read it as Spark plugs regardless Tongue

Hehehe. I actually almosy pooped myself bcus when I tried parking spark no2, it seemed to take forever to wind in.  I thought the spark park thread in the head had stripped!  Massive sigh of relief as it finally tightened up to stop.

Fitted new clutch plates to the Fazer 400. Accelerates much better now  :lol

fazer 4.... accelerates much better now...?  no no fella... thats a BIG contradiction.... 400 and accelerate dont belong in the same sentence....especially if it's yellow (fart) silver/red (grandad) gunmetal (dont foccin ask) or black. it has to be a blue 6 or 1 for u to be able to truly post with utmost confidence Big Grin
