Just go to an art or hardware store and buy some rubber sheet, cut it out with a Stanley knife!

Yup my second hand rack came without the extra foam bit too.

Ebay has some foam tape which seems suitable.

Rubber strips supplied with bicycle LED lights for handlebar or seat pillar mounting are ideal-or try one of the many online Givi suppliers like Calamander

May have them lying around from when I replaced my bent rack. Would be the used ones which are bit squashed mind. Let me check any way.
