Help please/ I went to Glasson today and met a few fellow foccers. Great ride and people but noticed from the forks, over broken tarmac (read holes) although shallow the forks seemed to chatter. That I am afraid is the only way to describe it.It seems to bang at the extent of the forks. I am only lightweight and don't think think the springing is light but was wondering if it could be the oil? not sure what is in as only just got the bike. Would it be best to go standard or what would anyone care to recommend please.
Many thanks Barrie
Yep, could be old or low oil. 10w is standard.
Could be the headset bearings.

Im sorry I cant help as mine dont say anything !
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
That's why I arsked, mine never shut up :'( Not head bearings checked those first off also wheel bearings etc.
mine used to do same! until i changed the oil?...but i also changed to 15w and that made a massive difference!!...thing is though ime pretty heavy so its suiting me fine?....might not suit anyone who,s a lightweight though?....
wouldnt hurt though to chk all fasteners around front end just incase someones f,got to tighten up previously?
