what did you do with your fazer today ?
I did consider a refurbished R6 shock but decided on a new Nitron Sport which was ordered specifically for my weight and riding style. I also wanted the bike to look as standard as possible so I opted against the USD forks and went for straight rate Race Techs instead.

I could put wavy discs, some carbon and add graphics, but I think fannying about with looks too much makes it look too customised if you know what I mean

Oh yeah, Nitron shock, I wasn't paying enough attention (again!  :rolleyes ).
I think also having one now with a (semi) non-standard paint job has freed up my thinking as far as looks go. Why not go that route with your next one? I had a GSXR slab-side with a Dream Machine paint job and it's funny how it changes your thinking about such things! Just feels good to be a bit more individual, I guess, and it's better, imo, than off-the-shelf bolt-ons if done well.

Went out to B&Q to get some packing tape - told my boss I'd be 10 mins max...

However, I may have gotten a little excited and absent minded enjoying the ride and ended up lost... somewhere... without my phone...

Finally got back after 3 hours (with some lucky navigation) and counted my blessings that my boss has been in a meeting all morning (just after I left) and has no idea ^^

First proper check ride after dark since buying this one. A great little ride on the A44 (some of it's just as good at this end slimwilly!), into Oxford, cup of coffee and home. It's been a lovely night for it, warm with just a light breeze, dry roads, little traffic, perfect.  Smile

Gave it a good clean and painted the end covers for the radiator, as I've got no work tomorrow , i'm gonna paint the radiator .

Not often we ride in the dark,,never if i had the choice.
Yes A44 , nice road, even where it leaves Leominster.

So Nick if you get onto the A44 and ride you go by my house and all the way to the sea Smile

Funny you should say that, I was thinking as I rode tonight, why not do the A44 end to end? Might have to give it a go.  Smile

Checked tyre pressures, gave her a sip of oil, lubed chain. Will pop out after dinner to fuel up, then check camping kit is all packed, all ready for another stab at Wales tomorrow!
Oh, and booked for a new tyre to be fitted next Wednesday. Still rolling through summer!  Big Grin

Got it serviced. I had had advisories on the MOT that the headrace bearings were possibly on their way out and the rear brake pads were approaching their wear limit.

The same place told me today "we tightened the headstock, it's fine and you've got at least a couple of thousand miles left in those rear brake pads!" Smile

Enjoy and hope the weather holds fair. Back in the NW England next week sadly in the car. Spain is a great place to live BUT not the UK.

Thanks Lew.
It'll soon be that time of year when damp and cold start to take their toll on these old broken bones of mine, so I'm making the most of the current mild temperatures. Sometimes wish I could do a Barry Sheene and head for warmer climes, but I would miss the UK. I've become more familiar with our little island than many over the years, what with exploring it both on foot and by bike, and when the sun does come out, you can't beat it.
You never know, you might get lucky and see the sun while you're here!  Smile

Funny thing is it feels lighter than my Faze, but is noticeably slower, 18bhp down in fact.
